Louise on Yoga
“I’ve been brought up with an awareness of yoga all of my life and my own yoga journey started when I was a teenager. As life took over I stepped back from yoga, but came back to yoga in my 20’s when I began to suffer with depression and anxiety. It was when I started to develop a regular yoga practise that I began to realise that yoga was helping me to manage these symptoms. I found that by using the combination of breath, asana (poses) and meditation helped me to develop a deeper connection with my mind, body and overall wellbeing.
"Forrest Yoga was recommended to me by my yoga teacher and I found that the practise was the one that has really helped me to deepen my connection with the breath and helped me to heal my own anxiety and depression. I became a Forrest Yoga Teacher in 2016 and am excited about passing all I have learned and continue to learn, on to my students.”
